Contrary to some educational propaganda, Native cultures are alive and thriving. The RiverWinds enjoy sharing their cultures, traditions, and ways with people of other nations and ethnicities to increase understanding, peace and promote global wellbeing.

"We don't want power, we don't want to be congressmen or bankers....we want to be ourselves. We want to have our heritage, because we are the owners of this land and because we belong here." ~  From the 1927 Grand Council of American Indians

The RiverWinds desire to truly make a positive change in the world today. To that end, they are actively involved in government liaison concerning native rights, social improvements for the underprivileged, and increased environmental education, sustainable earth-friendly living and teaching responsibility for all generations.

They advocate for veterans and bring awareness to the issues they face with a successful anti-suicide program. This program began on a few reservations targeting the same epidemic within native communities as well as bringing awareness to treaty rights, and missing/murdered First Nations women.

Close to their hearts and never far from their prayers are the indigenous people of Judea. Inspired by the story of the restoration of ancestral indigenous homelands to the Jewish people and Chief Joseph's Bnei Anusim ancestry, the RiverWinds hold the hope that, to some small degree, a similar story may one day belong to the First Nations people of the Americas.
