Statement of Faith
-
We believe that the Creator is our heavenly Father and his name is YHWH (sometimes pronounced Yahweh, Yehowah, Yohewah or by some Yehuah or Jehovah). We discourage people quarreling over pronunciations and whether or not to respectfully speak His Name.
-
We believe that Yeshua (known widely as "Jesus") is the Messiah. We enjoy calling Him by His Hebrew name but do not judge others who do not do the same.
-
Our best description concerning the deity of Yeshua: We believe that Creator cut covenant with Himself on behalf of Abraham. In order to fulfill Genesis 3, Yahweh the Father sent His right arm wrapped in a skin of clothing to the earth. Yeshua lived a blameless life and then laid down it down to be a guitless covering and atonement for the sins of any who will accept the gift of His salvation. How does one do this? Genuinely repent of your wrongdoing. Tell Creator you accept the sacrificial gift of atonement made by Yeshua. Ask Yeshua to lead and guide you in life (become your Lord).
-
The Holy Spirit (whom we sometimes refer to in the Hebrew - Ruach HaKodesh) is a gift that every Believer should receive. The Holy Spirit produces fruit to demonstrate; brings gifts to aid; and provides power evidence faith our faith walk.
-
We believe the practice of baptism is very important and is present in "Old Testament" practice of mikveh, still practiced in Judaism today.
-
The Creator YHWH is the God of the Bible. The god of Islam is Allah and is NOT the same as the God of the Bible.
-
We believe that there are two spiritual kingdoms: Light and Dark. They are fighting each other in the spiritual realm all around us and in the heavenlies. They directly and indirectly influence human beings on a constant basis. Because of this, it is important for Believers to learn and engage in actively influencing their own spiritual atmosphere and territory, including their own bodies as temples for the Holy Spirit. Yeshua gave us authority to bind up and cast out demons; to loose blessings and angels into our situations; and call upon the Holy Spirit for help, infilling, and counsel.

The Church did not replace Israel in Biblical promises. God cut a covenant with Himself on behalf of Abraham's descendants and human kind's actions (or lack thereof) have no bearing on His fulfilment of that covenant. As Believers in a Jewish Messiah, we are able to follow His instructions to be grafted into the covenant God made with His people. We are clear, unapologetic, strong supporters of Israel.
